Re: Jade

I've only known two Jade people, one a female school teacher and the other a male school pupil. Different schools! The woman was unusually tall, taught English and coached swimming; the boy was very pleasant, very well built, and took part in field athletics. He's grown up now and working as an auctioneer. So my opinions are mixed; my memories of the male Jade are more vivid and nicer, however for a girl it always sounds like someone with a very bad cold saying "Jane".
I don't like jewel names in general: they seem cold and hard. And I do like Jane, so that would always be my choice. By the way, schoolboy Jade had a sister named Amber!
