Dislike Bernie. Bernice has just about equal stress on each syllable, which I find unattractive.

It sounds extremely outdated and old fashioned. Also sounds kind of masculine. I would never use it.

I've never liked this name, I think it's the "Bern-" part of it that rubs me the wrong way as I don't like Bernadette either.

I love it so much, but it is a down-home old lady name. Fits in with names like Pauline, Judith, Myrna, Gladys.

I rate Bernice 3/10. It seems a typo to my ears as I've always heard Berenice and Bérénice.
