Claire and Aaron
Thoughts on them?
Yes, I know that Aaron was Miriam's brother. Doesn't bother me. I actually know of siblings named Aaron and Miriam. Hilariously enough Aaron's middle name is Moses. I wouldn't do that - I would go with Aaron Sean (Husband's middle name)

I liked Aaron/Aron a few years ago. I don't like it now thought, mainly because it feels boring, dated and I kinda dislike how it sounds.
Claire is alright. I much prefer Clara though, which is used here instead of Claire. I think Miriam and Claire sounds pretty nice together.

I think Claire is adorable. It seems somewhat mismatched with Miriam, but if I loved the name enough, I wouldn’t care.
I don’t really like Aaron much, I think because I have too many name associations, and just just doesn’t have a very pleasant sound to me.
I still really, really like Malcolm though :) when we found out we were having twin boys I had always loved the name Montgomery, and read Malcom in a book, and wanted to name them that and call them Monte and Malcolm, but, alas, the hubby very plainly and clearly said “NO” and wouldn’t entertain it :)

What did you end up naming them? Just curious.

I pm’d you :)
iich I thought for a second you meant YOUR Miriam's brother and was like "is there something I don't know about?" lol so yeah, the Bible thing doesn't faze me one bit!
Anyway, Claire has been in my top 50 since last year, but Aaron isn't. I just think he's plain and boring...just "there", if you will.

I love both. Claire would probably have been Alex's name if he was a girl. Aaron was on the list for him too but I think husband vetoed.
I adore Claire & Miriam as sister names.

Claire, like Ellen, is a name that some people seem to find so special but in which I see no specialness at all. Just a white-bread, lay-there name.
I've always liked Aaron. It's too popular for me personally, but not everyone cares. However, I've only recently realized that some people pronounce it so that the first syllable sounds identical to the word "air." I do not pronounce it that way and don't like it that way, and that in addition to its popularity would put me off using it.
