I prefer it more for a boy. I find it not only more suitable but also more refreshing. I mean it's okay for a girl but the several that I personally knew proved to be unpleasant and some even,well,"trashy" if I'm being completely honest. It made a bit wary I guess you could say. And I generally prefer it more for a guy, just the name alone even without any personal comnections attached.
