Estella
What do you think of this name? What nickname do you prefer? There's Essie, Ellie, Elle, Stella & Ella from what i can think of at the moment. Do you know anyone with this name?

I like Estella, but I like Stella better. Essie is a good nickname.

It is very trendy right now, it is pretty. I prefer Stella as a nickname.

I find Estella too fussy and frilly, and Estelle too dated. The only version I'd use, as a full name, not a nick, is Stella.

Estrella is a brand here in Sweden who makes potato chips, so that's all I can think of even though it's Estella and not Estrella. I've never liked Estella, or Estelle, as they seem a bit too cutesy/princessy for my taste. My favorite nickname would be Stella or Ella though.

I prefer just Estelle. Estella just sounds like Stella with an “e” stuck on the front. Estelle sounds more elegant and classic to me. That said, Estella is still a pretty name. I’ve been really loving the name Elle lately and Ella has always been nice as well, though quite common. I’m not a fan of Stella but I think it’s inevitable.I have never met an Estella. I know someone who named one of their twins Estelle, though. I believe her brother’s name is Henry.

I think Estella is a very pretty name that would for girl/ woman in a stages of life. As for nicknames I like Essie, Elle & Esti, and I think Essa & Esta could work too.

It reminds me of the scene in Great Expectations where the wedding dress burns!
It's a very pretty name. It could be a middle name or a first name - unike Estelle, which I can only envision as a middle name. The only other nickname I can think of is Tali.I would use it.

Hmmm..
I had never thought of Tali as a nickname for Estella before! I do agree that it is a very pretty name though!
