Re: Minnesota Birth Announcements Part II
Such an interesting set of birth announcements. Got to say, I was blown out of the water by the number of Ottos! Very Minnesota. My favorite combos are the laidback old guy names like Otto Jim and Otto Ray.Overall, was pleased and surprised by the number of dated combos that aren't even trendy revivals yet. Notably: Agatha Ann, Sally Lu, Dorothy Lou, Cindy Lou, Rachel Luverne, Laura Bernice, Judith Marie, Rose Beverly, Rose Faye, June Janet, Clarise Margaret, Faye Olive, Tracey Florence Lucille, Irene Elizabeth, Louis Douglas, Edwin Marcus, and Harold Eugene.I also liked all the Scandinavian names that cropped up: Signe Jean, Ingrid Anne, Ingrid Jennie, Berit Danielle, Tora Carys, Haakon Joshua, Hayden Arvid, Lincoln Douglas Lars, Larson Ray, Finn Sigurd, Sam Thorvald, and all the Odin/Odyns and Runes (especially loved Rune Halben!).I have a big soft spot for nature names, the more descriptive and unusual the better. I really like these names/combos: Sun Green
Aras Diamond Dawn
MorningStar
Spotted-Sparrow
Forest Marten
Red ElkThe names that had me scratching my head the hardest:
- Qwilleran James
- Jack Frost
- twins named John and JaxI really like the sibset Jack, Betty, and Os -- and I wonder how Os is pronounced. There are too many to list, but here are a few last favorite combos:
Octavia Jean
Ursula Rose
Olympia Jade
Yrsa Helen
Opal Roxanne
Nora Jean Fe
Liv MaryAnna
Abe Nicholas
Abraham Jordan
Arlo Bernard
Ansel Gregory
Ike Gregory Michael
