I only like Annabel, which is one of my favorite names. Annabelle looks like it has ruffles and frills on it, which I hate as much as ruffles and frills on clothing. I feel like this opinion is in the minority most of the time -- but not here, which is great. I love name nerds like me.

I feel the same about Isabel/Isobel (like) vs. Isabelle/Isabella (hate). Gabriel is my favorite male name and I loathe Gabrielle and Gabriella. (Part of that is because I like the long A in the English pronunciation of Gabriel but not the short A in Gabrielle/a.)
