Margaret
Tell me what you think of Margaret, and which middle name(s) you would pair it with, along with M/F siblings you would pair it with. Thanks. :) Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Very nice, but old sounding and a bit dated and pretty. I prefer Marguerite though, to Margaret. It seems more unique in a way that Margaret had became stale and reminds me of grandmas.Margaret Susanne
Margaret Rosemary
Margaret Hazel
Margaret Hadriana
Margaret Clotilde
Margaret Devorah
Margaret Melisande
Margaret Theresa
Margaret Joanne
Margaret June

I love Margaret! My last name starts with Mar-, so I its not very high on my list to actually use but I just love it! I love the combo Margaret Anne as something simple and elegant. Other ideas:
Margaret Lillian
Margaret Claire
Margaret Lucy
Margaret Annabel
Margaret Rose
Margaret Eloise
Margaret Jane
Margaret Frances
Margaret Opal
Margaret FernFor a sibling, I would do something classic like Katherine, Anne, Jane, Rosemary, Clara, Mary or Edmund/Edward, Robert, George, Charles, William etc.

I like it. I do prefer it with a nickname -- Maggie is my favorite -- or as a middle name, because Margaret on its own can seem a little harsh. I like Margaret paired with equally underused classics, so I'll say Margaret, Peter, and Louise. Certainly doesn't sound like a modern sibset to me, but I love it.I've always loved Sarah Margaret as far as combos go. I don't even particularly like Sarah but these two names just work together beautifully.Margaret Ada
Margaret Adela
Margaret Calla
Margaret Julia
Margaret Flora
Margaret LaurelI like it with very soft middles ending in 'a.'It's hard to keep it from sounding harsh, imo. Something like Margaret Eleanor or even Margaret Laura sounds so stern to my ears.

I had an aunt Margaret, also a cousin named Margaret (she was named for the aunt), so I like it, it's familiar to me.
Both these women were called their name, no nick-names. Aunt was named Margaret Jessie;the cousin, the cousin, I don't know here middle name.

I love it! I have a feeling it’s going to spike a little (just a little) because of the portrayal of Princess Margaret in the Crown. My husband now likes the name far better because of the show.Plus it’s got a lot of great nicknames, from obvious ones like Marg and Greta to more non-intuitive but well-established, like Maggie, Peggy and Daisy

Margaret has such a grim, sour sound to it. It just is not a pretty name. Margarita and Marguerite are just so much prettier, and Marjorie is cute in a grandma kind of way.

Margaret was our first choice for years and years. It was only after we became pregnant that we chose not to use it. We planned on using Margaret Cecilia or Margaret Mae.I'm pretty happy we didn't use it, I think Miriam and fits my daughter better and fits us better.Pretty much anything goes with Margaret. I'd like Julian and Thomas for boys and Julia and Olivia for girls
