My husband's niece and her husband named their second girl Haven Shalom.

The older girl is Kaylyn mn (can't remember).

I actually like it for both. I know that sounds weird.

I only associate it with girls. That's for one reason: a celebrity named her daughter Haven. I think it was Jessica Alba. I have never heard of anyone else with this name. I don't like the sound of it at all.

I rather like that, by the information you've informed us, either gender can use this name. So why not use the name for either gender, simply because you like it.

Haven Cecilia Mae is the only combo that comes to mind atm.

I like Haven. I guess I've only thought about it for a girl, but I quite like it for a boy as well.
