Laura, Lydia, Esther
Right now on my list for girl names I’d actually use for any daughters I’ll have, I have Esther Lydia (which I’ve made a thread on already) as one of the combos; however I’ve grown to love the name Laura, but don’t want to add another name to the set. So I’m trying to choose between Esther Lydia or Laura Esther (I’d want Laura was a fn I think). WDYT? I’m very conflicted as I love the name Lydia, too.“For once you have tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward; for there you have been and there you will long to return.” - Leonardo da Vinci

I much prefer the timeless Laura. I love the look, sound and meaning of it. It's one of the few names I could picture myself having. I could even see myself using it if I ever had another dd (Laura Juliet).Having said all that, I do prefer the flow of Esther Lydia to Laura Esther although the latter isn't bad at all.

I like Esther, think Lydia is okay, and dislike Laura, so I'd definitely prefer Esther Lydia. I don't think the flow of Laura Esther is that great either.

Laura is by far my favourite of the three. I like the rhythm of Esther Lydia, though I'm not totally sold on Esther, but Laura Lydia is too alliterative - or I think so anyway. My go-to combo for Laura has for years been Laura Gillian. Same rhythm as you'd get with Lydia; Laura Juliet also works.
