Thoughts on Olivie
WDYT of Olivie as an alternative for Olivia. How would you pronounce it, and what combos would you use? Do you prefer Olivia to Olivie? My combo ideas:Olivie Grace

I don't think it works well in English. Olivia, Olive, Livy all look/sound better to me.I'd say it like olivey. OL-iv-EE

I get where you’re going with it, because names like Rosalie and Coralie are so pretty. But it just sounds kind of juvenile and mispronounced/misspelled because of the overwhelming and exhausting popularity of Olivia. I’ve often found in real life that if you have a slight variation on something common nobody seems to be able to figure it out, whereas if you’re completely unique people will at least remember that.I’m also not 100% on how to pronounce it at first glance. Would it be AW-lih-vee, OH-lih-vee or oh-LIH-vee?

It looks like a mistake, like a typo of Olivia. I guess I'd pronounce it Olive-ee. Like it's a description of a salad dressing. It's lemony and olivey.
So yeah, I do prefer Olivia, but I'm not wild about Olivia.
