It is kinda cool.
If I say it a few times, I don't really like the tib sound, so it's not a favorite.
Just now I realized that the surname Tebow (TEE-bo) is a respelling of Thibault (TEE-bo), and so is Tybalt. That actually makes me like Tybalt a little less.
For R&J GPs, I like Mercutio more.

Thibault is THE most common surname where I live. Pages of them in the phone book. some of the men go by nick-names, though for some reason not the women.

I don't like it. It seems too theatrical to use on a regular child.I do know a few men (mostly over 50) with the Portuguese form of the name, Teobaldo. My mom has a cousin named Teobaldo - he's about 70. Can't say I'm particularly fond of the name, although I have no negative associations with it.
