Re: Favorite Persian / Arabic names!
Since I am not Persian or Arabic, I wouldn’t use most of the names from those cultures, but I do have some on my pnl. I have also included a couple of Kurdish names.Amira
Arya
Farah
Ishtar
Ashtoreth
Niloufar
Reza (usually considered masculine)
Tanith (I used to dislike this but now it is a guilty pleasure)
Vida (this name appears in multiple cultures)
Zahra
ZoraidaAhura Mazda (I actually like this better for girls, but in Persian myth it’s masculine)
Akos (Turkic)
Aram (Kurdish)
Dîyar (Kurdish)
Firdaus
Kaveh
Rashnu
Shahrivar
Zahir
Zair (unsure about the exact origins)
