Harvey
Why is Harvey so popular in the UK? Can anyone pinpoint? It’s certainly not popular in other English speaking countries (although maybe it is in Australia?)

My guess would be that Harvey Specter from Suits brought the name back into notice (not that that explains the UK only thing). I know one baby Harvey here in Australia.

We like boys names ending in -ie or or long ee sounds. Alfie, Archie, Charlie Harvey all have the same vibe and sound.
I have a student named Harvey who's about 18 years old. It's pretty adorable on him because it's so unexpected. It's just so unstylish old man to me it's almost endearing.
I'm sure it has lost a lot of this charm in the UK if is so popular, though.
