Celeb BA
Kate Upton (model & actress) and Justin Verlander (baseball pitcher, Houston Astros) welcomed a daughter, Genevieve Upton Verlander. I myself like the name: Genevieve is sweet and classy, and there are many potential nicknames for it. The only thing that bothers me is how her first name and surname clash: I assume she goes by Genevieve Verlander, so there are lots of Vs.

Hi !!!
Congratulations to them!
Hopefully there are some Celebs Who choose names that are not too out-there!
Geneviève (I prefer it in French) is a wonderful name! It has a witchy meaning and is refined and elegant. She Is the patron Saint of Paris and all these facts makes it beautiful.
It is a kind of family name for me: my g-grandmother was named Genoveffa that is hopeless about a comeback so maybe I can use Geneviève as MN to honouring her.

Genevieve is okay. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either.
Compared to other celebrity baby names this one is normal and not overused.

Lovely. I actually think that the repeated V's sound good.
It is very nice, especially for a celebrity baby name, with a nice history and a pretty meaning.
I don't care for the name Genevieve, it's just so posh and intimidating, nothing friendly about it. However, as celeb baby names go, this is fine, though like you, I'm annoyed with the run-together v's; I'd rather a full name not sound like a car trying to start up. And I'm not fond of the GUV initials either.
