Pretty. Not overdone. No weird spelling. This is a great name. Sounds good for a baby and will age well.

kind of like an alright sugar cookie. classic, perfectly alright, though not much to it besides for the sweetness. it would admittably be really adorable on a little girl, and it's one of those few super cutesy names that ages fine. it just doesn't stick out much to me. i prefet Corina and Corinna.

It's fine. I like Cara and Carrie better, but I like Carina much more than Katrina.

Pretty sound but I find the meaning a bit sickly. Overall it's a bit too precious for me

It's pretty! Much better than Cara, and a nice alternative to Katrina!

It's okay. Unobjectionable. I like it better than Cara because it doesn't sound as insubstantial, but on the other hand, it doesn't say a lot to me. No connotation, no associations, I couldn't tell you what a Carina would look like, act like, or be like. No, wait, I do have one association. A car careening around a parking lot.

i read that as a cat careening and i got excited...

Hi !!!Carina is surely a GP for me.
Infact here in Italy 'carina' means 'pretty' referred to a She and nobody would think about the constellation before than this daily link.
After that the constellation is known as Carena (that in Italian means 'hull').

I love it, it's a nice alternative to Katrina. I prefer the Karina spelling.

It’s very pretty. It has the same vibe as Serena for me — soft, pretty, and not overused.

I know one Carina in her early twenties. It's a pretty name that's recognisable but not overdone.

It's a common name in my parents generation, so I can't picture it on a child. At all.
And I dislike both the sound and look of it.

I think it's pretty. I do prefer Karina, though.
