Salomè/é/e is a name that I think is quite boring, because of the sound. But, like you mentioned, it is quite rare today and that makes it interesting somehow.
I went to school with a Salomé (french variant, same pronunciation). Her sister was Chantal, but I do not know their MNs.
IMO a name with a -ia/-a ending would make a good match with Salome (I write Salome out of laziness^^, but I pronounce it the same way as you do with Salomè).
