Louise
Usually I'm a Louisa fan, but I'm starting to appreciate plain old Louise. Do you like it? Would it work nowadays on a child? Some combos:
Louise Rebecca
Louise Virginia
Louise MadeleineLouise is hard for me to make combos with because it always sounds more natural in the middle, but I prefer it as a first name. Any thoughts appreciated!

Sounds too old fashioned to me, but Lou would make a nice nickname.

I adore Louisa. Louisa is so sweet and it always seems much more 'European' and interesting than Louise. Though mind you I really only know two Louise's so it's not that common to me as a first name. (Louise is the name of my close friends cheating wife, so i'm a bit soured on it now). Louise Rebecca or Louise Madeleine sound lovelyWhat about:Louise Victoria
Louise Beatrice
Louise Margaret
Louise Evelyn
Louise Emily
Louise Helena
Louise Veronica
Louise Marigold

I love Louise. (-: I think it’d be adorable on a little girl today. I think Louise Madeleine is cute! I have the same problem with one of my favorite girl names, Anne. Sounds so much more natural as a middle, so finding a middle FOR it is difficult.• Louise Amelia
• Louise Beatrice
• Louise Janae
• Louise Margot
• Louise Matilda
• Louise May
• Louise Nicole
• Louise Noelle
• Louise Penelope
• Louise Victoria
• Louise Violet

Louise is definitely easier to work with in the middle. Don't know why but it just is.I like it well enough, though not enough to want to use it even in the middle. I like it much more than Louisa. Louisa lays on the fainting couch and has vapors and headaches all day, but Louise is always up and bustling around and she didn't know couches could faint.

I like Louise as well. Its cute and unexpected these days but I don't think it would stick out too sorely. I think all 3 of your combos sound good. I think it sounds best with a longer middle name. I like Louise Virginia best, I think.
