I dislike Seb, but I’m not crazy about the nicknames Stan or Bastian either. One of the reasons I am not fonder of Sebastian is the lack of good nicknames.

Excellent; and also the only one that I could face using. It makes Sebastian a possibility!

Sebastian is a nice name.

I know a fair few Seb's (about six all between 15-30). They're all very posh, slightly arrogant young men who come from lots of money. One day I'll meet a Seb who doesn't fit that criteria, but to me Sebastian will always be an arrogant rich boy name.
