No, looks too feminine.

I only like it for a girl, and the Indian name.

Only for a boy. And preferably if he's Russian. I've taught an Afrikaans-speaking boy Nikita and an English-speaking South African Chinese girl Nikita, and they were both wonderful children, but I never really took to the name.

I love it! It's so jaunty.

Yes I do. I don't get why some people see it as a girls' name.I met a guy from Russia named Nikita last time I went on vacation. He didn't look or act feminine in the slightest.

I kind of like it, but the only Nikita I've ever met was a girl so I think of it as more feminine.

Hi Perrine !!!I like Nikita ONLY on a boy! XD
Infact I know its origin (many Russian names comes from A.Greek that was spread in Italy as well in the Ancient History and was discovered again during the Renaissance).I think that Nikita is stunning on man: fascinating with a bit of exotic and refined vibe. The Italian form is Niceta (nee-CHE-ta) but it is not used for newborns since 1998. Nikita instead was given to 32 boys and 12 girls in 2016.
