It sounds like a large, sassy, Southern soul singer with a powerhouse voice. You’d have to have a huge personality to pull it off. Otherwise it’s a bit weird.

I don't know if it's usable. I've never met anyone named Delta.
But it's starting to grow on me lately.
I like it.

I'm not a fan of word names or place names and the above are my first thoughts, in order, that I think of when I hear Delta. I don't see it as usable at all, although, maybe for a pet?

I wouldn't use it because Delta is a Greek alphabet. It's like naming a kid F or P.
