Interesting BA
An acquaintance of mine just gave birth to her first baby, a son. I don't know the middle name. I'll update if I find it out, but the little boy's name is...DacreWDYT? I'm interested in how they discovered this name. The only Dacre I've ever heard of is a young male actor named Dacre Montgomery who starred in Stranger Things Season 2 and the new Power Rangers movie. Maybe that's how they were introduced to the name.ETA: They are pronouncing it like DAY-ker, so basically acre with a D.

That is a rare name, but I like it! The meaning is cute and the sound is simple and strong.

First thing I thought of was the drink strawberry daiquiri, as I guessed dac-ree on seeing it. According to a comment on here though, it’s day-ker, which is okay.

Yup, it's day-ker. I don't much like it at all.

I'm tempted to pronounce it more like DAH-kruh. It reminds me of Fiacre....second guess would DAY-ker because it looks like acre.

For some reason I want to pronounce it DACK-er which is probably not right. I wonder what the actual pronunciation is and how they chose that name. I've never even heard of Dacre Mongomery before.

Yes, DACK-er is also how I want to say it but I found a video on Youtube where Dacre Montgomery says his name like day-ker, so I guess that's the correct pronunciation.
