Beatrice or Alice?

Alice. It's just a nicer name imo.
Alice
I don't think Alice and Beatrice are too similar for siblings. Lots of people have two daughters with names both ending in 'a' so too names ending with an 's' sound should be fine.
Alice reminds me of "Alice in Wonderland," and Beatrice brings to mind the works of Beatrice Potter. They are both cute and literary together with a classic vibe.

Alice
I don't dislike Beatrice but I have no connections to it, whereas Alice is a family name and has been a favourite name for years. I like the shortness and neatness, the history, and the sound in multiple languages. And there are some good contemporary and science associations, as well as all the others.

Both! But I vote Alice.
I’m not sure why they couldn’t be a sibset. They aren’t very similar, except for being literary and classic.
I really like Beatrice, which makes me think of Dante, as well as Shakespeare. However it is pronounced different ways and it feels like a bit of mouthful of vowels to pronounce, for me personally and it feels more formal. I like Bea for short, but then I don’t get to use the grander name.
Alice is classic, short and sweet. And I get to say the whole name as much as I want.
Alice and Bea would be cute on sisters.

Alice by a landslide
Very classic and endearing. Beatrice on the other hand is just dated. A name fitted for a mutually disliked teacher or headmistress everyone wishes would retire already, or most everyone at least. She is overly strict and rarely expresses genuine happiness. Most if the time her face is devoid of any positive emotions. She's miss Trunchbull but behaves in a more civilized, less grotesque manner.
Don't ask me where my mind came up with that specific imagery. All I know is that it has stuck. In any case, I just don't picture it on a younger individual. Alice I can see fitting on every age.

Funny how differently we perceive names :D I always imagine a young girl with very long hair, in a flowery dress with a big hat for Beatrice :P
Also I'm not a fan of the strong 'B' sound at the beginning.
Makes me think of a sworn of bees. No thank you. The name sounds way too serious.

Beatrice.

Alice
Beatrice sounds awful to me, I know two and they both go by Bea which is sweet, but I also have a sister Bianca who goes by B and a friend Rebecca who goes by B. So if I wanted that sweet nickname I wouldn't pick mouldy old Beatrice.
Alice is much more funa and youthful. Every Alice I know goes by Alice exclusively but there is the option of Allie if you want.
