Bayley
My nieces got a new kitten, and named her Bayley. What do you think of the name for a cat, AND a person?
Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

...the cat's name was changed to Gigi. Apparently, my youngest niece had a problem saying the name Bayley, lol.

I don’t like it for a human but it’s okay for a cat.
I like the name with any spelling; I would not pair it with Leigh as a middle name, but if some would like that - I am happy for the namer.
Bailey, for a boy, is alright with this spelling. I otherwise dislike it, but I kinda wish that the Bieber kid were named Baylee "Bay" instead. At least it's better than Bay.
It's fine for a kitten, I like human names for pets but names for pets doesn't really have to make sense so I don't care about what people name their pets really.

It's weird on a cat, because for a while there it seemed like you couldn't take a walk without bumping into a dog named Bailey. I mean, I've never known a dog named Rover or Spot or Fido, the cliche dog names, but I have heard of so many dogs named Bailey that to me that's a cliche dog name.
For this reason I don't like it on a person.

They named her after their favorite female wrestler. I thought that was kind of cool.
