I have a younger cousin named Chase. Her mom couldn’t decide these two names actually. I was glad she chose Chase because Chance reminded me of a dog then. However, it has kinda grown on me as well.

Neither is my style although I do like the sound of Chase. Oh, and I know a female (early 20s) named Chancy Paige which I think is kind of sweet.

They're growing on me too! Weird, huh!?

I like Chase on a boy and Chance on a girl. I probably wouldn't use them though.

I go through phases of really loving Chase where it rockets up my list. At the moment I like it but it might not even make my top 10. I like Chance but only as a GP. I like the look and sound of both names.

They both give me the same vibe: youthful, playful, informal, androgynous, and just a bit insubstantial as full names. I like them as nicknames for more weighty full names (e.g. Charlotte, Charles, Chauncey)
