I like it very much and would use it on a boy without hesitation.
On a girl, I rather dislike it. Robyn removes the gender ambiguity somewhat, but where I live it introduces a further ambiguity, as 'robyn' (pron. roo-uh-BAYN0 is Afrikaans for ruby.
