BA (and other names)
Someone I know just had a son, named Nilo. He joins older sisters Nemi, Noomi and Minelle. Nemi is the dad's daughter from a previous relationship, and Noomi is the mom's daughter from earlier relationship. I'm also part of a FB group for us due in December, some have already announced the names of their baby, siblings names when known:
Noel
Joel (Alva)
Holger
Legolas (half siblings Cardelia & Ottilia)
Jack (Adrian)
Theo
Elof
Casper
MaximusSigne x2
Inez
Meja (Julie + 2 half siblings)
Tuvalie
And from a couple of people who don't know the gender yet:
Frank (boy) or Ryan (girl)
Liam or Melanie
Tristan Arvid Alvvin or Anneline Ella Linnea
Albin or Bianca
Bill or PennyNo typos. ;-)
Let us step into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure. PNL: http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/45898

I know a family with a son called Nilo; the mother is Finnish. He has younger twin sisters called Salme and Kit.
I think Nemi, Noomi, Minelle and Nilo are too similar, but I understand it wasn't meant to be that way! I like Noomi.
I think Holger is super ugly.
I like Cordelia and Cornelia, but Cardelia makes me think of cardiology.
Maximus is pompous.
Legolas is silly.
I like Signe and I love Inez.
Ryan on a girl is horrible, especially on a Swedish girl. A rya is a kind of rug in Scandinavia, so her name looks like "the rug" to me.
Tristan Arvid and Ella Linnea would be very nice. Alvvin looks misspelled and is too close to Arvid. And Anneline Ella Linnea sounds like the same names twice.
I don't like Bill or Penny either.

Oh, phew, it's a relief to see a set of parents didn't intentionally decide to have daughters named Nemi and Noomi. I have such mixed feelings over Legolas. The LotR nerd is strong in me so part of me is thrilled to see someone use the name, but... Oof. That's a name alright.Holger is really ugly, sorry.I like all the names individually of Anneline Ella Linnea but I don't think they combo well. And I love Tristan and Arvid's alright, but why does Alvvin need two V's?
Maximus is bold. I like it.I like Signe.

Really like Ryan on a girl! It has strength and personality. Signe is also really interesting. I like it. Cardelia — did they mean to go with Cordelia? The Car- part seems off-putting to me.

I think they probably wanted something more unusual than Cornelia / Cordelia - and thus went with Cardelia...

Funny that their daughters have such similar names, I probably wouldn't have gone with a 3rd N name although Nilo does sound pretty different. I like:

Many people seem to think that Swedish naming laws are super strict, but they are really very relaxed. Most things are considered OK nowadays.
