I was just thinking about Cassandra a few days ago. I love the way it looks and sounds. I just don't care for Cassie and my dh doesn't care for the full name on a full-time basis so we'd probably never use it (if we were to have more children which we most definitely aren't).
I don't find Cassandra dated for some reason. Then again, I've only known one person with this name (Cassandra Marie, "Cassie") who is in her early 30s. It still seems pretty fresh in my mind.
