1. Not a fan at all.
2. I don't live in Wales, so I can't see it as anything but feminine.
3. Never met any Merediths, although it kinda sounds like a spoiled rich girl name to me. I guess it's from the misfortune of having seen the Bratz movie, where the rich popular girl is named Meredith.

I think of it in connection with Tracy for some reason. It seems dated, but when I get past that, I like the sound and the sea connection. Also, it makes me think of slate blue and charcoal grey.I remember around 15 years ago (in 8th grade), I told one of my friends that Meredith nn "Merry" was my favorite name for a girl, and she was like, "Omg! MINE TOO!" hahaI've never really thought of it as unisex, but I'd like it (and it'd feel less dated) used for a guy. It seems a lot like Morgan when I look at it from that angle.Meredith Fidelma

I like Meredith - in fact, it's one of the few names I like that end in "th" (other than Elizabeth / Elspeth). I also prefer it as a feminine name, despite it's historical masculine use, mainly because of the first syllable. (I don't like Marion on a guy, either.) I've never actually met anyone named Meredith, so I don't really have any "associations," per se.Right now, Meredith is a solid middle name for me. I have the combo Lydia Meredith in my Top 10. I've also had Ursula Meredith on there before.

I've always liked it. It has a bit of a mean girl / country club vibe to me, but I still really like it. I definitely prefer it on a girl.

It sounds feminine to me, and I like spelling of it. I lean toward strong feminine name, and Meredith is a strong, but delicate sounding name to me.

I really love it! One of my favorite professors was named Meredith (she was female) and the name helped to add to her erudite, dignified, yet down-to-Earth image. I could also see Meredith working just as well for a man. It’s one of those names that suits both genders well.
