Merab / Merav / Marife
I just stumbled upon these gems and am in love! Ive been fond of “Marivay” for some time and thought it was made up or that I misheard it, but now I’m wondering if it I didn’t hear Marife or some variant of Merav. Does anyone know anything about any of these names and/or what the intended pronunciation is? And wdyt of them? Merav/ Merab is pronounced meh-RAHV. It’s a traditional Jewish name and is gender neutral. I actually really like it, too. I’ve never heard of Marife but assume it’s a Sephardic variant of Merav.

I like them a lot. Great sounds, and I love mar/mer names. I’d imagine in many places it would take some work to have people get the name right, but there are far worse things
