I dislike it as a stand alone name for a girl. I love the name Jude and I would use it on a boy.
However, I love masculine nicknames on girls when the full name is feminine: e.g. Judith (Jude), Georgia (George), Antonia (Toni), etc. Not really sure why, but that's my preference.
