Natalie
I tend to think of this name as super 90s sounding, and associate it with people my own age and little older, so looking at the 2017 chart I was really surprised at how high up it was. Turns out it peaked in 2010, although it’s been in the top 100 for over 40 years at this point. The more you know. Anyway, now I’m thinking about it. What are your thoughts on it?http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/87410

Very bland; even more lacking in personality than Melanie. Pretty rhythm, but that's about the best I can say.

I'm a Natalie, born in '84. I've only met 5 or 6 others with my name in my lifetime. When my mother chose my name, her father told her it was an "old lady's name."

I like both; I do slightly prefer Natalia, but I've never met a Natalie, so it doesn't feel dated to me.

I also associate it with the 90s; I had a friend named Natalie growing up and she was born the year after me. Someone in my office regularly brings in her granddaughters, 4 year old Nicole and 1 year old Natalie and it always seems so strange to me; they sound like they should have been born fifteen years before they were.
Aside from the chart, IDK, it's ok. I like a few -lie names but Natalie's not really one of them. Seems like they all get called Nat (as a casual nickname, usually, not a "I-go-by-Nat" way) and I'm not really into that. The french pronunciation improves it somewhat.

I love Natalie. I think it's light and sweet and pretty. I kind of think of it as a silver spoon sort of name, though, and a forever young feeling one, which are pretty big draw backs.

It seems like a classic to me. It was never oversaturated in my area. I don't think I knew any Natalie's growing up, and I still haven't heard of any baby Natalie's. Because of that, it doesn't feel tired to me. Some combos...Natalie Morgaine
Natalie Guinevere
Natalie Margot
Natalie Beatrix
Natalie Clementine

I like it! It's my SO's mom name so I might end up using it as a mn, although I'm not sure if I like it enough to do that... it is a bit dated but I consider it a modern classic along with Christopher, Rachel, etc.

I only knew one growing up, and I didn't particularly like her. Then she dated my neighbor, and openly cheated on him with a jerk. My neighbor was the sweetest guy, popular and nice to everyone, stuck up for the kids everyone picked on kind of guy. Anyway, I never cared for the name. Now that I'm older I do see the appeal of the name, and Nat is kind of cute. So while it's not on my list, I'm not sure I'd veto it.

For a while there I thought of it as dated, since I only know Natalies who are around my age (28). Then, a few years back Ottilie found it's way onto my list and so the similar Natalie gained some appeal. I think it makes a wonderful name now.
