I like cool things like that, especially with twin names. It's their middle names so it will just be a fun little story and it won't be completely eye-rolling and lame like it would be if they were the first names.

I don't really like Kai on a girl and the flow of Kai Leia is not great (I would have gone with Kai Rey or Kai Padma) but who cares.

It's okay. It's witty without being an embarrassment to the children. Luke and Leia are in the middle where they belong.

I do very much like the Star Wars connection. As middle names they won't be hearing 'oh like Star Wars hyuk hyuk' every time they say their names, but it can come up as a fun fact when they want. And Luke and Leia are nice names aside from the connection, too. I support using fictional character names if desired, but only if they are nice names. (Why Khaleesi??)(And reasonable names to use, still bitter about Kylo being in the top 1000)

I really likethe combo Rowan Luke. But I don't care for Kai on a girl at all, and it sounds a bit awkward on Leia. And Rowan is way more seen as unisex than Kai, people are going to hear 'the twins Rowan and Kai' and mix them up all the time.

Cheesy but I kinda dig it. Not really a fan of Kai as a girl's name though, but I'm excited to see Rowan on a boy.

I'm assuming that Kai is a girl. I think it can work as a unisex name, but I prefer it for a boy. I like Rowan Luke, but would have liked Rowan Lucas even more.
May 4 is also my father's birthday.

A bit nerdy...but still totally normal names. I hope they go by Rowan and Kai, though. Glad they didn't choose Obi-Wan and Darth.

At least they’re in the middle, no one else need know once the article fades out haha. I actually more dislike Kai for a girl than anything else. I quite like Leia (character and name), but not for a May 4th baby, and Rowan’s great.

As a nerd I kind of like this? Especially since the SW names are reasonable and in the MN spot.

Is Kai a girl? Kai says Boy, but Leia says Girl.

I think Leia is cool, but like the Kaj spelling better. Rowan is okay, but I prefer it for a girl and I hate Luke.

The names aren't my style, but the Luke and Leia thing isn't terrible in the middle name spot. For first names it would have been gagarific, but in the middle it's okay. At least they're real names.
