Iphigeneia
I’ve been liking this a lot lately. What do you think of it?
Do you prefer Iphigeneia or Iphigenia?

I really love Iphigenia (regardless of spelling). It’s stately and substantial, which are some of my favorite qualities in names. Iffie would be a cute nickname.
The main problem, practically, would be people misspelling and mispronouncing it.

I love Iphigeneia! It's so rich.
I prefer it to Iphigenia because it's a closer transliteration of the Ancient Greek.

It's pretty cool. I'd love to meet an Iphigenia (I prefer that spelling). I'd think Geni would be the go-to nickname.
It's another one of those names that sounds like a disease.
Didn't Iphigenia die very early in the play as the result of human sacrafice so it could start? I only read it about three years ago, so I can't exactly remember it. That makes this name kind of remind me of Mercutio, at least in how tragic they are. And that ruins my opinion on the name because it is so tragic.
I like it. It brings to mind St. Iphigenia of Ethiopia and so it's frequently on my list.
I much prefer Iphigenia to Iphigeneia. The Iphigeneia spelling complicates the name a bit.

All I think of is Calliope Iphigenia Torres, and I really liked that character. But I don't like Iphigenia. It's too much and too complicated.
