Re: Chinese Names

Hi Fiammetta !!!
I've heard about every year has a specific character that is more more common than others..I read it in a book...
So 霞 xiá means "morning dew" and could be combined with other character or it should stay alone?
If I'm right also in Japanese there are some characters that could be combined and some others that have already a full meaning (or something about how they are written) so they should stay alone...
I'm not sure about these info but I'd like to start studying Chinese so if I learn some basic info is simplier..
Thank you for your info! Just Xiá is an update to my knowledge of Chinese language!! XD
