They sound awkward when I say them, like they're falling and going to continuing tumbling down even once I've finished saying them. I may be mispronouncing them, but they seem very heavy on the second half. The meanings are fantastic though.

Akash is definitely the one I prefer between the two. I like the sharper division that the K gives.

Akash is the name of my son's school friend. I like it.
Arash is a little hard for me to pronounce smoothly - the second A gets flattened out and it sounds like "a rush." But it's a neat name anyway.
