I like True a lot. I have played around with Truth or True as first names or middle names in the past and I think it's the best choice any of them have made this year. I am also a big fan of fn/ln alliteration (or fn/mn alliteration) so I'm digging True Thompson. Bonus points for the family significance too! And it doesn't seem like a name they just liked and then had to reach to find a way that it honors- it definitely seems to have a lot of meaning to Kris's family.

I like True as a nickname for Gertrude.

Pity they didn't go for Gertrude, nn Trudy. That would have been genuinely different; this is just tedious.

It's ok. Fits the family trend of wordy names, but far better than North, Chicago, Dream etc. I was expecting worse.

Painful, as expected. There are some words that work as names (Forest, Haven, etc.), but True really doesn't, IMO. Prince doesn't, either (unless you literally wrote Purple Rain).

I don't mind it at all, it has a nice ring to it. I didn't know what to expect, but I can tell you I'd much rather be True, than North, Chicago, Stormi or Dream!

I don't mind True and I like the meaning behind it but with Thompson it sounds a bit odd to me. Sounds like a description or something.

Funny they chose True, when it just came out last week that her husband has continuously been untrue.

Not too bad. I actually kind of like True. It isn't exactly exciting either, I think there are some celeb babies named True around, not very creative, typical celeb baby name like Blue and Bodhi. It could be a lot worse.

I like it! One of my best friends when I was a young teen had True as one of her middles so it's pretty normal to me.
