I like Lewis (and Louis, but I prn them differently).
Wesley is quite southern to me, like a typical Texas cowboy or something. Stanley is dated, and the whole sound of the name is silly.

Wesley is my favorite masculine name, but the others are very dated from my perspective. For me, Stanley (Stan) is a "Dad Name," and Lewis (Lew / Lou) is a "Grandpa Name."

I like Wesley & Lewis a lot (both are prob in my top 50) but not Stanley

Wesley and Lewis are good. They're both kind of fresh sounding (not like "new", just something about the W maybe. They're "clear" names, maybe that's a better way of putting it.) I think the main reason I like Lewis is because it's in a lot of author names.

Stanley is bad IMO. It sounds stale, nasal, and grumpy.

Lewis is a favourite of mine. It's a family name both as a first name and a surname, and it seems intelligent and kind and sensible to me.
I've seen a few little Stanleys lately & it seems surprisingly okay on young boys (surprising, because until recently I'd have associated it with the extremely aged). Stan is a friendly-sounding nn.
I've only ever met one Wesley: not sure it was ever popular here. He was scary. Unfavourable impression.

I've always loved Wesley, even before I had a son-in-law with the name.

Stanley is a family name...it was my great-grandfather's and my grandfather's middle name, and my uncle had a son who died shortly after birth, whom he and his wife named Stanley. Nevertheless, I find it nerdy, in spite of knowing a non-nerdy Stanley. Well, he was just a little nerdy.

Would that be weSSley or weZZley? Either way, I don't like it: like Calvin, it makes a religious statement that doesn't appeal to me.

Stanley is either too dated or not dated enough. If I wanted a son known as Stan, I'd rather have Stanislaus, except I wouldn't.

Lewis is my preference above Louis, and given enough sons I might consider using it.

I like Wesley spelled Westley, and I'm indifferent to the other two. I prefer Lewis spelled Louis, and Stanley is okay, but I think it needs a while longer before it makes a comeback.

I really like them. They are quirky and creative without being too weird or "out there"

I like Lewis, and Wes is ok, but Wesley sounds whiny to me, possibly because of one I knew as a kid.

I think Kingsley is the only *ley name I don't dislike for guys.

They are alright. I like Lewis the most I guess, and Lew is nicer compared to Wes or Stan.

I like them! Wesley is definitely my favorite of the three, then Lewis, then Stanley
