Re: Felix, Theodore & Zacharias

Not an international perspective from me but I'll answer anyway.
I like Felix but have a hard time imagining a grown man named Felix. It's like it's eternally a child's name.
Theodore is nice but it would bother me that I would always have to spell it (no matter what spelling I choose). I don't really like Theo as a nickname. It's trendy and bratty.
Zacharias is my favorite of these three names. Is it really common? I've never come across a Zacharias or heard of anyone with this name. I would describe it as a rare name. I quite like the spelling Zakarias as well (maybe even more than Zacharias). I can't say I'm a fan of the nickname Zach and I don't know if it's inevitable with a name like Zacharias.
* Ellen * Astrid * Eira * August * Isidore * Emmanuel *
but she wants to be sure 'cause you know sometimes words have two meanings
