Nightingale
What do you think of Nightingale as a word name? It's popped into my head a couple times when thinking of combos recently.
Right now I'm thinking of it like...Robin is to Nightingale as Rose is to Edelweiss...it's eccentric, but it sounds namey to me.
If you hate it, tell me why. If you don't hate it, tell me why.
Thanks :)

Unexpected but lovely
Hi !!!
I find Nightingale a beautiful masculine name!
It is a lovely songbird and I have to say it, one of the few birds whose I know the English word...
If its Italian form (usignolo) were be a given name I would surely use as FN because there are some reasons to make it honouring in my family.
About Nightingale I love its sound and I find it very poetical. I rate it 8/10.

I think it'd be a cool middle name.
There used to be a poster here who put it in many of her combos and they were always cool.

I like it as a middle. I think it can really make a combo, particularly with short to medium vintage names or to brighten up more common choices. It’s a very picturesque, whimsical name.
