Message: "BA" - Behind the Name

A cousin of mine and her husband welcomed their first child yesterday. A little girl named Vivian Rayne who weighed two ounces short of eight pounds.
The first name surprises me a bit, not gonna lie. The middle name is after the father.

This must be exciting for one of my aunts as this is her very first grandchild.

A very good name for a baby. Among a class of kids name Zayden, Navaeh, and Harlow, that will be a classic, pretty choice that will stand out. Viv and Vivie is also cute.

I love Vivian, it's one of my favorites. I'm not a fan of Rayne but I like that it's honoring her father... is his name Ray or is it actually Rayne?

Yeah his name is actually Rayne. I find that a bit strange but it is what it is I suppose.

I love Vivian! I prefer the spelling Vivien, but that's no big deal. Great choice.
