What do you think of these celebrity names?
Replies
Poppy Honey Rosie - ick, sounds like a kitten or a poodle. Rosie is cute, but not with Poppy and Honey.
Daisy Boo Pamela - Daisy Boo is ridiculous. Daisy Pamela would be OK.
Petal Blossom Rainbow - could be cute mn's per se, but together they sound like My Little Ponies.
Buddy Bear Maurice - Buddy Bear makes me think of Gummi Bears and Care Bears.
River Rocket - sounds like a steamboat.
Blue Ivy - as far as I know, ivy is green.
Stormi - silly. Storm and Stormy are bad enough.
Chicago - a city infamous for murders. And not even a beautiful city name.
Ennio - at least is a real name, but I don't care for it.
Lea de Seine - a bit pompous, but also almost cool. I like Leah.
Dream - I prefer Sanja or Svajone. Dream is too much of an everyday word.

Poppy Honey Rosie - NO
Daisy Boo Pamela - NO
Petal Blossom Rainbow - NO
Buddy Bear Maurice - it would have been fine with a different first name
River Rocket - nah, having both names being actual objects is weird
Blue Ivy - I'm indifferent
Stormi - No, just stupid
Chicago - it's fine, not a fan though
Ennio - it's okay
Lea de Seine - it's fancy and I'm feeling it
Dream - ehh it's okay, I don't hate it. Like it better than Chicago for some reason

1. Ridiculous, babyish
2. Same
3. Same
4. “ “
5. “ “
6. Not as bad as the others, but still totally nms
7. Not very good, but better than 1-6
8. Why?! If you’re naming a child after a city at least choose a beautiful city
9. Really nice, actually
10. Very nice, especially if they actually have origins in the Seine Valley
11. Some word names work (Hope, Fern, Haven, etc.), Dream really doesn’t.

While I can't say I like any of them, the ones I hate the most are the ones that are just random strings of words. Give you kid a *name* for crying out loud. Or of it's got to be a string of words, can you at least give it some flow so it doesn't just sound like a list?
The group as a whole: ick, way OTT cutesy.
Most of the combos sound more like cartoon characters or pets (my family had pets named Poppy, Daisy, Rosie, Boo, and Bear) than people to me.
I like Daisy, Maurice, Ivy, and Chicago ok, though.
And I sort of sympathize with the appeal of Honey, Blossom, Rainbow, Bear, Blue, and Dream, but I'd only like them as MNs paired with more serious FNs.

they all suck ...
Even as names for dogs, they suck.

Hi !!!
Some of these names are really nice.
The problem is that combos are too much!
Poppy Honey Rosie: all -ee sound! Just horrible. After that..too many floreal theme! I like both Poppy and Honey but not as sibset and worse in a combo!
Daisy Boo Pamela: I only like Daisy. Boo Pamela seems the name for a barbie.
Petal Blossom Rainbow as above. All these names are really nice..but not together!
Buddy Bear Maurice: Teddy Bear's brother? TT I dislike the name Buddy! I only like Maurice.
River Tocket: River is great... Rocket is a disaster.
Blue Ivy: the name Ivy reminds me the word 'envy'. Blue as FN makes it worse.
Stormi: LOL this name is the Italian word for a group of birds. Why not just Storm or Stormy?
Chicago: this city has one of the most horrible sound ever. Worst as FN.
Dream: lovely sound but this word is too 'daily' to be used as a name imo.
Lea de Seine: oh yeah! The better of this bunch. I dislike the names on their own but all together are super fascinating and elegant. It seems the name of a Medieval dame.
