Re: BAs from 2017 in rural NSW, Australia
in reply to a message by Aine
Ready to tackle this! I like:
Adeline Joan (Bayne sounds like Bane, like the villain from Batman... not a fan)
Alexander Edward (Lilly)
Amelia Isobel (Blake, Holly, Harrison and William)
Annabel Rita
Audrey Annette
Aurelia Matisse (Not a fan of the brothers' names though)
Charles Jack (Not big on Leonardo... it's nice to see someone use Charles instead of just Charlie though!)
Clara May (surprised Clara doesn't chart in NSW)
Cyrus John (only sibling names I like are Dominic and Sophie... the rest are way too trendy in comparison)
Duncan Phillip
Edward James
Elliot Charles
Elsie Florence
Eva
Georgia Faye and Georgia Grace
Grace Anne and Grace Mary
Hannah Elizabeth (Boring but still nice)
Harrison Adam (William)
Henry William
Isaac (Olivia)
Jack (Molly, Sophie, Abbey, Tom and Grace- only one I don't really like is Abbey)
Lola Clare (Max)
Madeline Estelle
Marcus Elias (James)
Matilda June (NOT with Madison!)
Matthew Robert Alexander (Nick, Tom, Sam and Emily)
Max Jacob
Milo James
Oliver Peter
Primrose (Archie)
Reuben Jack
Riley James and Riley Michael James
Rose Elise
Sadie Anne
Samuel Robert
Silas Ross
Sophie Rose (Harry)
Theodore James "Teddy"
Vincent James
Willa Rose
Just some random points because I have too much time on my hands:
-Abigaele is such an eyesore and the poor girl is gonna be correcting a lot of people throughout her life...
-Very interesting to see Kimberly on a boy again
-I wonder how old Chelsea and Brad are? Their names are so different in style from Charlotte and Emily... wonder if they're step-siblings
-Airleigh? For real? and two of them? Wow.
-Is Austin Jai a boy or a girl? I'm gonna guess (and hope) boy
-Avahlee-Rose is an eyesore.
-I feel like Callie Lee's parents didn't say the name out loud before they chose it...
-Ugh Forrest Christopher Charles would have been lovely, why'd they shorten it to Chris?
-Gage on a girl is probably one of the worst things I've ever seen. It's so masculine!
-Ignatius Zachary Jacob Cameron is quite a mouthful... and it's interesting to see 90's/2000's names like Zachary and Cameron following something like Ignatius!)
-Changing the spelling of Violet doesn't distract that your child's name is just two words for a shade of blue
-How do you even say Joziaha? Is it supposed to be like Josiah?
-I don't understand the need to end a name with an i AND a double e... like, we get it, it's 'lee'.
-Phoebe Lake would be ok, but Lake Phoebe sounds like a tourist destination.
-Peighton and Zakory? Why though?
-Nooo Remy is a boy name! I don't care that it ends in y! My boy kitty is named Remy :(
-Oh my god Summah is absolutely hilarious... can't make this stuff up.
-Zaydin is shudder-worthy but unfortunately not the first time I've come across the name...
-Two Zaylahs? What?
Interesting to see:
-Becky
-Taylor (m)
-Dixie-Ann
-Ernie
-Hugo Oz
-Jemimah
-Macey and Maicie (which is just, wow)
-Noelee (no-EL-ee? NOL-ee?)
-Meg, just Meg
-Oakie (just bad, wow)
-Obie
-Olee-May (dear god)
-Sealey (family surname?)
-Shanelle-Lee
-Stewart
-Travis
