Clovis and Louie
Another post made me think of Clovis... which is related to Louie... which actually sound pretty cool together. I'm just not sure how these names seem to others. Opinions?Clovis
Louie
Usable?
Any other names they inspire?

They do sound like a good sibset.
I prefer Clovis over Louie. I actually have Clovis down as a potential name for a boy one day.

I like Louis, pronounced Louie.
I could get used to Clovis..not for me, but someone else's child!

I wouldn’t use two names with the same origin together, but I do like Clovis and Louie individually. Ludwig is also a good form of the same name.

Hi !!!!I tell you my opinion:Clovis is an historical, ancient, aristocratic name. I think it is rare everywhere also in France (Clodoveo is nearly extinct here). But it is tryumphant and dignified because was used by kings.Louie is childish, trendy, modern, overused nicknamey name.I absoloutly pick Clovis!! XDI assume that people would pick Louie because more 'friendly' and common.Clovis is refined and unusual so it is not for everyone.

Interesting because I always think of "King Louie" and the two names both have a Royal flair for me. Totally see your point though. Clodoveo is wonderful, but I also really like Ludovico - which has a similar vibe.
