Aprilia / April
Hi !!!
I recently found that there is a name coming from the spring month in Italian too.
It is Aprilia!

As I wrote it is nearly extinct as given name. Infact the latest use of it was in 2001.
I think it is a pity!
Aprilia is exactly what April is in English.
It seems ery elegant but youthful as a lot of Ancient Latin names are in my mind.
WDYTO it?

I like Aprilia. It has the same vibe as April in English does to me — cute, sensible, and down to Earth. I definitely think it’s usable!
I like it, it's sweet. The reason why it's not used more is probably that fact that Aprilia is an Italian motorcycle brand.
There is a Swedish snowboard star called Aprilia Hägglöf.
According to a statistic site, there are 100 women in Sweden called Aprilia, 67 April, 2 Aprilla and 1 Aprill.
But isn't April Aprile in Italian?

ETA aprile
I checked on ISTAT...
Actually Aprile is a feminine given name.
In 2007, 2008, 2009 less that five babies/year were called Aprile.
So If we think that Aprilia was used the last time in 2001 so Aprile is as rare as it but used after it and for three years!
It surprised me a lo! I didn't know!
