Ah, so that is the Itailian localized name for Moana! Cool, I like the sound and look but it might be confusing for those not familiar with the name!

I think they had to change it because there's a (somewhat) famous European p0rn star named Moana.

I like it. The meaning fits other Tahitian names (objects are a common theme), and the sound is nice, at least in English. Disney using it basically makes it unusable (at least in the West / outside of Tahiti), because that’s the only association people will have with it.
