I tried for years to find a name that would work well with Minnie, and that I liked.
Minette came close, but it's become a slang term in France that is not very nice (think, female body parts).
Still, I technically like the name.
Minerva was also a bit too much for us, but I tried to convince myself that it might work... same thing with Arminta or Araminta.
Jasmina and Domino made my list for a while. Carmina and Ismene made it to the top a few times too.
The actress Minnie Driver was born Amelia, so that would work probably.
If I wanted to use Minnie today, I think I would go with Noemin or Melina as the full name.
Willamina is not my style really, but it's sweet enough that I think it would work today too.
