Lyris
Does anyone like the name Lyris? I am pronouncing it LEER-iss. It’s more of a fantasy story name to me, but maybe not such a bad one.
Would you spell it this way? I saw a woman on the news whose name was spelled Liris.
Then I wonder if I wanted to accent the second syllable (lih-REESS) how I would spell it differently, if at all. Thoughts?

As a fantasy character, I love this. Male or female, I'm here for it.
For LEER-iss only though. Don't like lih-REESE at all (but I assume you'd just spell it Lyrice, maybe).

I think it's a good fantasy name too. I like it.
Lyrisse? Like Clarisse?

It does make a good fantasy story name. I like it though, because I also like the Welsh name Llyr, which is similar.
I like it pronounced both LEER-iss and LIE-riss.
To emphasize the second syllable...hm...maybe Lyreese, but that's not very attractive I don't think. :/
