Aza?
Reading John Green’s newest release “Turtles All The Way Down” and the main character’s name is Aza. It’s been bothering me because I have no idea if it’s pronounced AY-za, Azz-ah (as in apple), or Ahz-ah? Also, what’s its origin?I just redid my PNL, please vote! https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/174843

It's been submitted as an Ingush name, meaning unknown:

Forvo thinks it's Russian and pronounced Ah za: https://forvo.com/word/%D0%B0%D0%B7%D0%B0/#ru
If the author has a twitter, perhaps you could ask him how his character's name is pronounced?

Its alright. I would personally say Ay-Zuh, like Asa.
