Kitty
Thoughts? Any full names you would use, with Kitty as a nickname? Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

My favorite form is Yekaterina, though Katarina more then Katherine and Yekaterina. Maybe Kathleen as well. I actually prefer Katarina to Katherine or Catherine. It sounds better then Katie.

It’s a bit childish I think, but I dig it in a retro kitsch kind of way. I went to school with a KatrinaKitty

I met my first Kitty when I was 12 years old and laughed my head off. It seemed really silly then. Now I think it's fine although I do prefer Kit. Any Katherine (and variants) would work as fns. I've personally known five people name Kitty / Kit (two named Kathryn, two named Katherine, one Katrina who was called Kit).

I like it! I would use Kitty as a NN for Katherine or Kaitlyn.

I love Kitty, in full, she’s one of my favourites. Very fun, energetic, light, and playful. I’m actually wearing an ‘I love cats’I t-shirt rn, so there’s that too. I’ve thought about Catiana nn Kitty, and I really like Tabitha nn Kitty (Tabitha —> Tabby —> Kitty), but there aren’t many longer forms I love as much as Kitty.

Honestly, I think it sounds like the name of a stripper. I think it can be a nickname for Katrina or Katherine.

Cute for a kid but I think it's too childish for a grown woman.

I'd only use it for a cat. My husband named a cat Hey Kitty years and years ago, and I generically call any cat I'm trying to make friends with Kitty. Also Boo-Boo, Sugar Bear or Sugar Booger.

I love Kitty! I like either Katherine or Kathleen with the nn Kitty!

Only Katharine, really. In Middlemarch, Dorothea's sister Celia is known as Kitty, which I always thought was too much of a stretch. I suppose Kathleen could work as well.ETA I really like Kitty as a human name, probably because I've had more than enough of Kathy, Kate, Katie.

I know someone who uses Kitty, it suits her. I wouldn't use Kitty personally, even though I love Katherine and Katarina. You have to be a specific type of person to pull it off .

I love it! It does remind me a tad of the annoying sister in Pride and Prejudice but that doesn't dampen my love for it. I especially like Keturah "Kitty", but also Katharine (only this spelling), and Kathleen, for honouring reasons.

Hi RDNZL !!!I love Kitty as full name.
It is sweet, elegant and simple! It could be NN for a lot of names.
But I prefer it on its own.

It's a bit bigger stretch, but you might also consider the feminine "Leo" names. :)
